Apart from the gameplay, the story didn't get me interested either. The way its told is poorly done and there is no feel of teamwork. I run around and here and there I see others chasing enemies and collecting loot, but do i feel like my input matters? Not at all. Not even when joining 20 random players at one of those BIG boss battles that occur throughout each map.

I think my asura is level 18 or so now and I'm really sick of it, so much I can't even push myself to finish the game once! Maybe if i find a guild I can play along with, but then how will we play as I noticed every race has it's own starting point and storyline? Pffft!

Pardon my rant. It just shows I rather play an 8 year old game over the sequel with better graphics.

yes...we need to stick to the thread title (playing mod here for a second--not a why I stopped playing gw2 thread--think we have one of those here someplace).....

that being said...yeah, we need to get together in factions---my necro is still at...viz square

)...and I still need to finish up the hatchery with my ele (skipped it for some reason--oh yes, was needing kurzick points for armor!). and think my ele made it to crossroads in nightfall (leveling up the 4 legg-ed one), so still have plenty to do!!!
had a short vacation from those characters while doing all the wintersday quests and such--now ready to get back into playing them again!

I can help you out there in either one of the quarters you're not starting from, so we have heros instead of henchmen.

That's the tricky part, can't remember how often I peeked at my friendslist trying to see if Cosyfiep was online (I only know two of her many accounts right now). I too have several accounts which makes it more tricky. But the most active would be
TomokoMori, MavenArcher, MadcapSpirits. Most likely I will go through Factions with Madcap-account. Got a few different characters but still working out decent builds. Only my SoS-spirit got decent heroes so far.

I'm currently trying to finish up 2 more titles to give me 20 overall, which are protector for Tyria and Elona. It's pretty sad that after 8 years, I never did the mission and bonus for D'Alessio Seaboard or Bloodstone Fen lol. I know *fail*. I don't even know if I'll even finish doing it since I hate doing stuff like this by myself because it gets boring.

I'm still running people, working on vanquisher titles, and I might continue my remakes of the Cartography Made Easy mods. My remake of the Cantha one has gone over extremely well with the community so far so I might take the time to remake the others when I get the time.

Recently got my first GWAMM. Just have a few elite areas I want to do, plus I need to finish my HM titan quests (just did Defend Droknar's + Denravi). Apart from that I'm still PVP'ing depending on the weekly bonus, doing any zaishen quests I feel like in order to save up for no reason, and waiting excitedly for the canthan festival.

Sadly I just realized that that with JQ almost dead and FA dead there is no way of finishing canthan cartographer titles. I was hoping to do them on all my remaining chars one day. So focused on other stuff for the moment.

you dont need either jq or fa for the title--you can 100% without them (and with the woc you can get a bit more from that pvp starter area which should help even more)....its just not as easy to finish without them.

btw, i saw before canthan new year and after wintersday, that kamadan had 1 full district, many times and many days, inactivity is still here

just making clear that GW is far from dead community-wise (not even mentioning guilds having alot of chatting and playing (even helping) people)

I have done the new years quests (4 of them--I skip 'just my luck') on more than 2 dozen characters...and I still have another dozen or so I can do them on ---though my reasons for doing them was to get my horsey for each of my accounts (got them all already--got lucky on my last 200 and got 3)....so now I am doing them to trade for gift bags--sweet points (doing the nightfall quest for them as well).....otherwise, been playing rollerbeetle (when there are enough peeps), have yet to get into the dragon arena--always empty, and some afk on the rings (when I remember to leave my computer running and such

).

Spent around 18 hours afking the 9 rings. Got lucky from 41k to over 107k and unlucky from low R2 to R3. Still breaking lockpicks with a 70% chance to keep them. The only Celestial missing up to this point is the Rat. Have all the rest up to the Horse.

Working on cartographer across all 3 continents and doing the ZV's with Strings of Vengence. Pulled a mule off account #4, and now working it through NF.

lol yeah, I afk'ed in the rings for my first time this year because I only play in the evening because of exames. Had my Titles at 5 (unlucky) and 3 (lucky) over a course of 5000 hours of play before (obviously minus the time spent while these titles weren't invented yet). These are ridiculous. I made an estimated calculation for fun: If you only do chest runs with lock picks in HM from 0 to 10000 chests you will roughly get 1/3 of unlucky and 1/5 of lucky.

I'm (slowly) working on my second GWAMM on my Derv - currently trying to motivate myself to complete Prophecies in NM & HM. It's a struggle!

Plus my boyf and I created new characters (my first Mesmer!) and we're playing through Prophs without access to our other accounts - so no financial help or heroes or anything. Plus no buying of Elite tomes or PCons.

I'm also playing through WoC in NM & HM for the first time on my Necro but I'm currently stuck on a quest in HM (the one with the jotun in the cave in Mount Qinkai if anyone has any pointers?).

Aside from that, I'm enjoying running duo Ooze with a friend on my Sin, doing occasional SoOSCs on my ranger, and standing around in Kam trying and failing to get rich.

Reviving my old warrior and trying to progress on some of my titles to hopefully get gwamm within the next (5 years) haha. Also playing some mule characters I created to garner birthday presents right before I quit.

Slowly flag your heroes to the mouth of the cave, then trigger the quest. You got to do it bit by bit, so they don't get stuck, plus a bit of practice to know the route. That and some luck and you can do it.

Well, that quest is hard. But they made it easier since the HM NPC's are now lvl 20. Running a Prot+Heal bar yourself will help immensly. And you don't have to flag your heroes sepperatly if you use permanent IMS. If you are in, Spirits and Minions help a lot. And take care of the Sin, she is quite suicidal (spike down groups she attacks).
